Hocking Hills State Park now features a special section of the park for learning adventures. It is open during normal park hours. Visitors can park at the Visitor Center (campground entrance) parking lot and walk to the Expedition Trail.
Learning is fun here! It's all about hands on and getting
to know nature with games and activities. Kids and adults will both love the ability to play together in the different activities.
Visitors can feed the birds, play nature cornhole games and take a peek at the hawks and owls who are full time residents of the park's care.
There are also picnic tables available.
The area is wheelchair accessible and set up so that folks of all abilities can take part in the fun.

The expedition trail offers a cool, shaded sanctuary with games. It is free and located behind the naturalist/ranger station.

There is a raptor center and hands-on activities for all ages and abilities.

Picnic areas are not reserved and there is a grill. Resident animals are easily photographed.
