Trails
Trolls is a volunteer group that works with the
Hocking Hills State Park
Naturalist and offers folks a way to do some rewarding hard labor doing
everything from building new trails to redoing old ones.
There is always a need for volunteers to do everything from reenact at Frontier Trail Hike to pass out hot chocolate at other special events like Christmas at Ash Cave.

The Hocking Hills Region is located in the Midwest US settled into the edges of Appalachia's Southeastern Ohio. It is known for its wilderness areas, unique rock formations, cascading waterfalls, breathtaking cliff edges and the many cabins and cottages tucked into its hillsides to escape the everyday. It encompasses such natural areas as Lake Hope State Park, Wayne National Forest, Zaleski State Forest, Hocking State Forest and a few Columbus Metroparks. One of the largest visited park systems in Ohio is Hocking Hills State Park located within this region. There are over 25 miles of hiking trails including those at Old Man's Cave, Cedar Falls and Ash Cave.
