Outdoor Adventures
Hocking Hills Canoeing-You don't have to go far
to have fun in
the Hocking Hills. You can bird watch at Lake Logan in the
morning, canoe the Hocking River in the afternoon and go golfing all the
next day. There are rappelling outfitters, bicycle trails and horse riding
camps.
Remember a time when you could paddle the kids without
getting in trouble? Well, in the Hocking Hills
you
can actually do it without a worry-as long as the kind of paddling is the
kind you do at one of the local canoe liveries. Come paddle a canoe in the
Hocking Hills or take a horseback ride deep in the woods. Hike Old Man's
Cave or mountain bike
at Lake Hope State Park.
Hocking Hills Rock Climbing-If you love the
outdoors, there's an adventure around every corner in the Hocking Hills. Less
than a half hour from Logan, there are rock climbing and rappelling areas in the
nearby Hocking Hills Forest.
