Christmas in Ash Cave
A wonderful evening stroll with lanterns, tree for wildlife and Santa Claus
Time: 5:00 - 7:00
This year's winner for a fantastic winter evening with the family! This holiday program begins with an unguided lantern walk along the paved trail to Ash Cave. Once in the cave, families can visit with Santa, sit around the campfire, listen to carolers or music, sip hot chocolate and munch on cookies.
The candlelight dancing off the roof of Ash Cave along with the cascading waterfall deeper in the gorge make this a must-see hike for families. You can even take a stroller or wheelchair all the way to the edge of the cave.
What's even funner? Kids can make decorations like pine cones with peanut butter and bird seed to decorate a tree for wildlife. Once you arrive at the cave warm with refreshments by an open fire. Listen to or join with our carolers, have the kids visit with an old fashion Santa or help to decorate our Christmas tree for wildlife.
